"Sarah Perlis helped me create the perfect custom-made engagement ring for my fiance. I knew that my fiance liked Sarah's aesthetic because she loved a piece of jewelry I had gotten her from Sarah's shop previously. When I approached Sarah about creating an engagement ring, she suggested that I go to her website picked out some rings that I liked and come in for a consultation. Sarah pulled out the rings I had chosen along with a few others from her collection she thought I might like and helped me dissect what I liked and disliked about them. Over the course of two more consultations she was able to pull out a lot of stones and band samples that I really liked, eventually landing on the perfect combination of style, color, and stone, within my price range. I was so happy with the way the ring turned out, and my fiance absolutely loves it - we could not have been happier with the end result.
Throughout the process Sarah was kind, patient, and very helpful - having been to other jewelers I know that I would not have gotten the level of care and attention that I got from Sarah. About four years ago, while browsing blogs online, I came across an photo of a starkly beautiful ring with three diamonds. Someone had posted it as inspiration. I wasn't buying rings, or looking at rings, but the image stuck in my mind. About a year later, my partner wanted to create an engagement ring for me with a brilliant diamond from his grandmother's engagement ring. He had tried working with another vendor in DC, where we lived, but it hadn't worked out. So I went back to the internet to figure out where I had seen that gorgeous ring, which turned out to be Sarah Perlis' triple diamond ring.
Sarah was amazing. She listened to our thoughts, and designed a beautiful, unique ring that showcases our diamond and her talents as an artist. Even though I was not in NYC, her service was prompt and incredibly helpful. My partner and I were both shocked at how easy and affordable the process was, especially after having had a more challenging experience with another jeweler.
Sarah made rings for both my partner and me. Two years in, the rings are comfortable, sturdy, and I still get compliments on mine all the time. Thank you, Sarah!

When we were talking about getting married, i knew i wanted a ring that was atypical - something different than what everyone else has, but still something gorgeous and well-made and sparkly. i looked around a lot online but nothing compared - even online - to sarah's stuff, both in terms of price and beauty. and then i met her! she is the perfect person to work with on something that really matters to you. she sat down with us and asked us tons of questions and showed us a ton of rings. we were able to pick what we liked about this ring, didn't like about that one, check out different stones, shapes, positioning, bands, colors... in short, i got to get exactly what i wanted, no restrictions. her personality creates an environment where you feel totally comfortable figuring out what YOU want, and then she makes it that way for you. sarah perlis is the best! we haven't even married yet and my fiance told me that the next time he wants to get me a gift of jewelry, he's definitely going back to her...

I was enamored by two Sarah Perlis rings that a young woman was wearing while at my son's wedding. I didn't know who made the rings at the time, but eventually did some detective work and found the name of the artist. Once I got on the Sarah Perlis website, I fell in love with the nature appeal of the jewelry, and the beautiful materials used in making them. This year was a milestone for me. I turned 60 years old, retired from teaching for 30+ years, and rode horseback in a Wagon Train for 30 miles from Grantsville MD to Uniontown, PA.
