I was recently inspired by an epic pair of pearl and sapphire earrings I saw in the Byzantine gallery at the Met Museum. I was so moved by the luster and color of the two stones together, I had to make a pair of earrings with this stunning combination of stones for myself too! Set in 22k gold, hanging off an 18k earwire with a hand-hammered coin at the top.
